Our online-only version of the dear old “local paper” has a smaller, more humble ambition. We hope to provide current events, local interviews, public service announcements, summaries of City government meetings and plans, and social or commercial opportunities for local residents and people who visit Martindale. We saw people needed a way to find out what’s happening in town and decided to give the people what they want!

At Martindale News in Martindale Texas, our mission is to provide our readers with the most accurate news and current Martindale events as possible. We believe that a well-informed public is essential to a healthy democracy. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who wants to know what’s going on in town has an easy way to find out!
Need a resident parking pass for the park?
The annual Martindale Park Pass is free to Martindale Residents only. If you live in the ETJ or out of town, the cost of a pass is $70. If have any questions or concerns about the application please call Martindale City Hall at 512-357-2639 or contact utilites@martindale.texas.gov.
JULY 4th PARADE
July 4th, 2024 10am
- Join in the parade or just come and watch!
- Streets closed at 9:30am so come early if you plan to park at someone’s house.
- If you park in town, you cannot drive your car anywhere after 9:30am until the roads have been reopened, after the parade is completely over.
- Food vendors and craft booths after the parade!
- If you have a special vendor or parade participant in mind, please call the Mayor! 512-357-2639
- The next parade planning meeting will be at 2:30pm on May 22 in City Hall. Please join us!
